Mark Gatiss Appreciation Package

So I’ve only had a couple bites on this project, but I know more of you are interested! Everyone please reblog this, spread the word! This is a repost of the information for the Mark Gatiss Appreciation Package.

Here’s what I’m planning to do. If you want to send things to be part of this package, please make sure they get to me by april 18th, 2012. I’m going to give my address out to everyone who was interested.

Things I am including in the package:

Any fan letters: Now, this can be either hand-mailed to me if you want Mr. Gatiss to have the actual hand-written letter in his eventual hand, OR!!!! you can either write it by hand and scan it or type it up and email me the scan/text file and I can print it out and include it in the package. That saves a lot on mailing costs for those of you internationally(Not in America, where I am) who want to contribute to this package!

Fanart!: Same deal. If you want it to be poster sized or want him to have the original, you’ll have to mail that to me, but if you want it to just be included, I have both a rather high-end personal printer and a place on campus that doesn’t charge much to print things out, so I’d be happy to do both colour and B&W print-outs of your guys’s work up to say… A5/Legal paper? Photos could also be on photo paper. Anything bigger, please, would be sent to me.

Fan-stuff!: Now what I mean by this is T-shirts, maybe #Believeinsherlock buttons or memorabilia or something like that. Those would need to be sent to me if you want them included in the package. I can’t afford to screen-print my own things outside of for my own personal use, I’m a college student!

SO! You can really write what you want, I mean I can’t stop you, but please refrain from:

Dehumanizing/fetishizing Mr. Gatiss or his sexuality, or making your letter/art/etc. just about him being gay. Like I said in the last post, he’s a great man, and he’s got a lot of things about him that are great, he’s much more than just gay.

Please don’t send any slash fan-fiction or slash art or anything like that. Please.

Nothing overly large/breakable/etc. I encourage you to send them to him on your own so that you can be sure to pack them right so they’ll get to him safely.

So if you would like to contribute, everyone who has already emailed me should have my address. If not, please send any address inquiries to me at deutschtard@gmail.com, and I’ll send you out a mailing address. If you’re going to digitally mail it to me, this is the address to do it to.

I’d like to have everything In My Possession by the EIGHTEENTH OF APRIL, 2012 (that’s 4/18/12 for US people and 18/4/12 for …everyone else). I hope to send it out from My Possession by the 23rd of April.

Please email me and make sure the subject of your email says something like “Mark Gatiss Appreciation Package” or mentions this project or Mr. Gatiss in it so I know what you’re doing!
